Programme

The preschool’s programme is in line with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education dated 30 May 2014 amending the regulation on core curriculum and general education in particular types of schools (Journal of Laws of 2014 item 803). It takes into account the intellectual, social and creative development of the child’s personality.

The programme emphasizes the individuality of each child, it promotes development by strengthening self-esteem.

– LINGUISTICALLY –

Until the third year of life, children learn a language spontaneously, like they learn their mother tongue, provided that they are submerged in this language or surrounded by it. Between year three and six, children still learn a foreign language in spontaneous way, but they already unknowingly use the structures of their mother tongue. Learning still progresses very quickly but not as naturally as up to the third year of life. After the sixth year of learning, the native language becomes a “filter” for the foreign language. Learning a language at this stage is learning grammar, vocabulary, structures, etc. With age, learning a language requires increasingly more effort and time.

Only in our preschool does English with a native speaker children accompany children for 3 hours a day.

– MATHEMATICALLY –

According to the concept of Prof. E. Gruszczyk-Kolczyńska, we will unnoticingly introduce children to the world of mathematics using everyday situations and creating conditions for acquiring “mathematical” skills. In caring for the comprehensive development of our children, we carry out tasks associated with shaping emotional resilience in children and their capacity for intellectual effort, particularly in tense situations. These are essential skills for a successful start at school.

Daily math fun.

– SOCIALLY –

We use the educational concept of Thomas Gordon (the creator of the programme “Education without failures”) in all age groups. We want to provide children with the ability to function in a group (also different linguistically and culturally), to accept the cultural diversity of others.

All our teachers have adequate educational competences.
They skillfully establish relationships with children, provide them with the right to solve problems independently and think for themselves.

They teach children to recognize, express and accept their own feelings and familiarize them with socially accepted ways of solving conflicts.

During classes we organize free weekly workshops with interesting guests.

– ARTISTICALLY –

We pay special attention to the development of artistic abilities of children and awaken interests in them. The teachers allow children to have direct contact with various areas of art: painting, music, sculpture, movement, dance and theatre.
In each room there are creative places to play, where children can realize their artistic ideas throughout the day.

We provide children with regular access to a variety of materials and tools which stimulates the development of creativity and imagination.
